Nudes and other Sketches: A Group Exhibit
Donat was part of a group exhibit held at Conspiracy Cafe on Visayas Avenue last March 28, 2009. The exhibit was the result of several Saturday sketching sessions also held at Conspiracy and attended by artists who are alumnae of the UP College of Fine Arts. Artist Neil Doloricon, for example, was former dean of the UPFA.
The informal Saturday sketching group was driven by Arnold Molina Azurin --the group's self-described "seducer of women," noted for his admirable ability to convince models to pose in the nude or semi-nude, mostly students from UP and Ateneo, with several UP professors included such as CAL's Coney Paz and Theater's Tony Mabesa, though with their clothes on.
Donat exhibited three nude sketches and three portrait sketches, but not all of them are posted here. Among the other artists were Adi Baens, Eghai Fernandez, Boy Dominguez, Jess Santiago, Pancho Villanueva, and Biboy Delotavo.
